POPUP Shop Opens on Friday!
The next of Creation’s pop up shops will open next week and the group have asked me to invite you to the launch event, Friday 7th December, from 2:30 – 5pm. There will be a hot drink and a warm welcome for everyone!

The shop is called The Gift Shop, and guess what it sells……
Just in time for Christmas, great gifts at affordable prices.
Location: 57-59 East Street Market, Off Walworth Road, SE17 2US
The shop will be open for three weeks, 7 December 2012 - 23 December 2012, Monday - Sunday
Time: 10am - 5pm
The shop is the fourth installment of Creation Trust's pop up shops, training local unemployed people with skills to help them set up their own businesses or go into work. The gift shop, will be about for three weeks only and close on Christmas eve. It has been funded by Southwark Council's community restoration fund. In a property offered by Peabody Trust.
The pop up shop programme makes people aware of their business skills and to be involved in the East Street Market as well as offering individuals the chance to gain real world business skills. Each of the trainees is also working towards a Level 2 qualification in social enterprise.

If you have always dreamt of setting up your own business, running a shop or are looking to learn new skills, then this could be the opportunity for you.
The pop-up shop project is a 6 week programme, training unemployed people in retail and customer service skills and offering the chance to apply their skills by setting up and running their own shop.
