Community Project for Mums

New sewing project for Southwark Mums. Learn how to make a tote bag from scratch, brand your bag and gain key selling skills.

This is a social enterprise project, aimed at financially disadvantaged mum’s in Southwark with school aged children, low earning potential and at risk of social isolation. There are a lot of mums that cannot work due to the inflexibility of most companies, they want to work but during school hours and term time only.

During the course, they will be taught to make a tote bag from scratch, brand their bag and key selling skills.
