1 month

How did SE17Working help you?

I received assistance with constructing a better CV and cover letters. I also attended the WOW Employability workshops where they teach you how to present yourself and identify what an employer goes for.

What job did you find?

I applied for, and was successful, in getting an Admin role in a new local secondary school.

How do you feel now you are employed?

It's a great feeling to be self dependent and it keeps me motivated knowing that my current job will help to get my foot through the door for future endeavours.

What advice would you give to others looking for work?

Get in touch with SE17 Working! They not only make you a stronger candidate when applying for jobs, they help you to explore your career options and help identify which ones are suitable and how to go about pursuing them.

What are your plans for the future?

To stay with my employer and receive as much training and experience as possible before considering future career moves in a couple of years.  I am currently considering going into business management.
